In any career you have days in your job that will be memorable for the rest of your life, I hope to remember at least one thing from every wedding I get to photograph. One thing I know for sure is that Hannah and Sam's wedding will absolutely be one I will never forget. Nothing was going to prevent these two from marrying the other, not even a world wide pandemic. Originally Hannah and Sam had a big wedding planned having the ceremony to take place in Sam's Opa's back yard followed by a reception at Willowbank, and they were going to have Chinese food for their dinner! Things clearly couldn't go as planned, so they opted to have a zoom wedding in Hannah's basement apartment! Hannah, Sam, Myself, and 2 officiants were the only people that could physically be with them to celebrate such an incredibly special moment. It was very emotional and absolutely beautiful to see two people want to be married so bad that nothing was going to stand in their way. After the ceremony, they dropped off Chinese food for the immediate family in the area so they could have a virtual reception. I know, I will never be able to express how touching the entire day was in words, and honestly maybe not even enough in photos, but here are some my favourite photos from the wedding I will never forget!
Meet Hannah & Sam...
The tripod was holding the phone so their family could see and hear them, while the tv was hooked up so they could see their family!.. How freakin special!
