Being able to post Christie and Brad's Wedding is bitter sweet, with a venue change, getting married the day after their original date and a whole bunch of hoping and praying they could still hold the wedding of their dreams on a slightly smaller scale.. IT HAPPENED and it was BEAUTIFUL!
One of my favourite moments from Christie and Brad's wedding was during their first look, they went down to the dock to have a moment for themselves said the vows they had written for each other during that moment. There was something so beautiful and intimate about the whole thing.
Meet Christie & Brad..
How did you two meet and how long have you been together?
Brad and I met in University. I attended the University of Waterloo and he attended Wilfred Laurier University. He lived across the street from one of my high school friends that also attended Laurier and one night my friend, her roommates and I were coming home from a club and he was coming home with his roommates from a party and they yelled out "girls, girls, girls" and then we started yelling back and eventually invited them over to hangout at my friends place for an "after party" (the year is 2010 btw lol). Brad and I started talking once all the guys were over and we hit it off. After that we decided to keep hanging out and the rest is history. Been together a little over 10 years - we met March 2010
What was your first impression of your partner?
Christie: I thought he was funny! He was very talkative and interested in learning about me. He also did a microwave dance move for me which I found hilarious at the time.
Brad: My first of impression of Christie was that she was very kind, very beautiful and warm.

Christie: How easy it was being with him. He made me feel so comfortable and loved. I never questioned how he felt.

What are a couple of things you appreciate about your relationship and why do these things seem significant?
Christie: That we already went through some tough times and made it through stronger as a couple. I appreciate that we have learned so much about each other.
Brad: The support I receive from the relationship. It has really helped me get through some tough times. I wouldn't the man I am today without her support. We both also have the same life goals and that makes our big decisions a lot easier to make.

Christie: 1. That he could focus on the present only (sometimes he worries too much about the past or future) 2. That his best buddy (our dog Harley) would live forever or at least as long as we do. 3. Happiness - I want our family to be happy above anything else
Brad: 1. Good health for life because I want to spend as much time with her as possible. 2. Happiness because nothing makes me happier than seeing her happy 3. Love - because life without love is nothing
