I have been trying to incorporate more lifestyle sessions into my work, and so far I have been absolutely thrilled about the outcome. Jenn and Luke may have been one of the easiest couples I have photographed, their comfortability with each other and in front of the camera was beyond anything I could have even imagined. This session was filled with laughter and lots of romantic intimate moments as you will see below. Every kiss was as passionate as if they hadn't seen each other for a while... to find out they really had barely seen each other for at least a week prior to the shoot. I started thinking that if that is the recipe for a shoot filled with this much chemistry I should tell all my clients not to kiss for a week before shoots haha! Just kidding thats a little extreme! 
Now I think thats about enough from me, time for the pictures and to read some Q & A about the couple! 

Meet Jenn & Luke! 

How did you two meet? How long have you been together? 

Jenn: I thought I had met everyone in my year by gr 12 of high school; but when I switched into a different religion class —there was Luke, who had somehow escaped my knowledge all those other years. 
Luke: A few months later we found ourselves going to prom together but our current love story didn’t occur until many years later.

What was your first impression of your partner?

Luke: back in highschool, my first impression of Jenn was that she was your typical overachiever and super focused on college. I also really liked how her jet black out hair brought out the black in her eyes. 
Jenn: when I first met Luke, I was immediately drawn and jealous of his eyes. I’ve always been partial to light coloured eyes. He was such a gentleman and a kind soul. He also struck me as someone who had a lot of secret talents.

What is your partner’s most irritating habit?

Luke: sometimes she gets too caught up in her own problems that everything else gets pushed to the background
Jenn: his super alpha road rage 

 If you could describe significant other in one word what would it be? Why? 

Luke: spectalular. She is spectacular because she’s just so incredible at anything she does or tries to do.
Jenn: comfort. Luke balances out my life, is the chicken soup to my soul, he’s just pure ultimate comfort for me.

Is there any special memory with your partner you will never forget? And what was it? 

Jenn: The one memory I’ll never forget with Lucas was when he showed me the toy soldier that we had bought at an arcade back when we had our first double date way back in high school. It had been about 5 years since then and  it really meant a lot to me that he had never forgot our highschool puppy love 
Luke: one of the most special memories with my love that I’ll definitely never forget was having dinner at Cinderella‘s castle when we were in Disney World and becoming a kid again 

What would be your advice to couples for making a relationship last a lifetime?

Just be open. You have to be an open book towards the person you love, it’s simple  but people make it difficult, you need to recognize love is a choice and have to keep choosing it.
