These people are my creators... MY PARENTS! I literally had to beg them to take these photos. My mom hates her photo taken and if you have ever seen a photo of my dad and I, I probably begged him to take a nice photo with me and he's either rolling his eyes or making the most ridiculous face. Needless to say all the begging worked and it was so worth it, my parents are actually relationship goals!!! This is what their 26 year marriage looks like today and these photos completely capture the nature of it... that includes how much joy our dog brings to us which you will see below. I normally ask my Newlywed Clients a bunch of questions one of which being, "What advice would you give couples to help make a relationship last a lifetime" I don't even need to ask my parents, there is something they said to me a long time ago that has always resonated with me. My Dad said "No matter what in a relationship you have to put your significant other first, before your children, before your parents, before your job. That doesn't mean you neglect or don't value those other relationships but it means if you need a vacation for just the two of you take the trip and leave your kids with the grandparents. All relationships change, your kids will grow up, find partners and start their own life, You don't want to wake up one day and not know the person you raised a family with because you didn't take the time or put the energy into your relationship".
I am eternally grateful to my parents, they have helped me find my own path in life and continue to always believe in me and . I am so proud to have been raised by such amazing and inspiring people who I am so darn proud of.
